Ordering Information

The following information explains important notes about product availability, canceled orders, substitutions, special offers, special orders, and out-of-stock items. Orders are filled in the order they are received. For a higher success of order fulfillment, we suggest ordering as early as you can or as livestock becomes available.  Selecting the next delivery date ensures the best success for receiving a full order! Items put in a cart are not held, you must complete checkout to ensure you get the item.

  • Orders can ship as early as the next day if you wish
  • Livestock quantity and status is updated in real-time
  • We will not give refunds for orders where the delivery company has determined there’s no safe location to leave package.

Adding to an Order

You can add to your order up until 9:00 AM EST the day your order ships. It’s so easy.  Login to your account on the site, start shopping and creating a new cart, when you get to checkout the website will show “Add To Existing Order” and there will be no shipping or packing charges. You can do this as often as you like. How amazing is that?


There are many factors that affect the availability of our saltwater livestock. A lot of species are seasonal and may not be available throughout the entire year. Although we do receive new shipments at our facilities daily, each specimen is held for observation and must successfully pass a thorough health examination before we will allow them to be made available for sale


Any order cancellations will be either credited for 1 year or refunded with a 20% restocking fee.


You cannot use coupons, store credits nor ReefTastic Reward points to cover the cost of shipping, fees, etc. Multiple coupons cannot be combined (stacked) – ONLY one coupon code can be used per order.  Please choose the one best for you and your situation.

Order Availability

If for any reason one of your purchased items goes out of stock after your order has been placed (ex: If an animal appears ill, we will NOT ship it), we will first offer you the option to make a substitution. If there are no acceptable substitutions, we will refund the cost of the unavailable item(s). If more than 75% of the retail value of your order is unavailable, we reserve the right to reschedule your shipping date and/or refund your money.


If the exact size of an item you ordered is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute by ONLY ½ size up or down, if available. If a ½ size substitution is not available, we will attempt to reach out to you via phone and email. If you do not want a substitution of any kind, please specify in the “NOTES” section when completing your order. We will do our best to reach out to you and come up with a suitable solution.

We work closely with our customers and aquatic suppliers to ensure you receive exactly what you order. If you are informed your selection is out of stock, feel free to reach out to us to discuss alternatives with one of our aquatic service specialists at any time.

Special Offers

Due to limited inventory, we reserve the right to limit the use of coupons and specials as necessary.

In general, all special offers are to be considered to be set to a limit of 3 uses per customer per order. From time to time individual specials may be capped differently.

Item Sizing and Representations

All sizes listed are only an approximation. All pictures and descriptions of livestock are generalizations of their individual species and are not exact representations unless stated. For all WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) items, the photo you see of the item is the EXACT item you will receive.

Deadly Livestock

Some livestock, including common items in the saltwater hobby, are deadly. Aqua Locker (AL) accepts no responsibility for any injury or loss of life related to products purchased from us. It is up to each individual buying livestock to have researched what they are buying and what precautions need to be taken when caring for any livestock purchased. Any data provided by AL about items we sell are not meant to be comprehensive in nature and may contain errors and/or omissions. By using and buying from this site you agree to indemnify and hold harmless AL from any injuries or deaths. Additionally, if you receive a marine animal that kills other animals in your aquarium, we are not liable for those losses.

Order Acceptance Policy

We reserve the right to decline or cancel your order at any time and for any reason after we have received your order, but before it has been fulfilled.

Out-of-Stock Products

Occasionally, an item may not be in stock. If at least 75% of the retail value of your order is available, we will ship those items. We will always attempt to contact you regarding your shipment if there is an issue, but if we cannot reach by 3 pm EST on the day of the shipment, we will make a judgment call on whether to ship the partial order or not.

Multiple Product Orders

If you place orders from multiple categories, they may be shipped separately. Marine Life, Live Rock & Sand, Conditioned or Quarantined livestock, Frozen Foods, some WYSIWYG, and Aquarium Supplies may ship separately via different shipping methods. If you place multiple orders within the same category, we will attempt to combine orders where possible.

Typographical Errors

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or an error in pricing information received from our suppliers, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any such orders even if it has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card was charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Aquarium Supplies Warranty

Most of the aquarium supplies sold on our site come with a standard manufacturer’s warranty. In the unlikely event that a product is found to be defective, we recommend that you visit the manufacturer’s website and follow their instructions regarding repair or replacement. AquaLocker.com only offers products that the manufacturers stand behind. If for any reason you are not happy with the way they handle a problem or if you are unable to contact them, please let us know ASAP.
