Yasha White Ray Shrimp Goby (Stonogobiops yasha) Care
The Yasha White Ray Shrimp Goby, Stonogobiops yasha, is also known as the Orange-striped Shrimpgoby and the Red-Striped Goby. These fish come from the Western Pacific Ocean. They have a white body with horizontal orange and red stripes and spots.
These gobies are carnivores and require a diet rich in meaty foods, such as mysis and brine shrimp and other types of fresh or frozen chopped seafood.
Yasha White Ray Shrimp Gobies require an aquarium of 10 gallons or larger with plenty of live rock for hiding and a deep sand bed. They are known to jump and will leap out of tanks without a lid. They are peaceful fish and should not be kept with aggressive fish.
They are reef safe and will not bother corals, fish, but will eat tiny invertebrates.
