Pink Spotted Watchman Goby (Cryptocentrus leptocephalus) Care
The Pink Spotted Watchman Goby, Cryptocentrus leptocephalus, is also known as the Pink-speckled Shrimpgoby. These fish come from the Western Pacific Ocean. They have a white body with some blue-green hues and bright pink spots.
These gobies are carnivores and require a diet rich in meaty foods, such as mysis and brine shrimp and other types of fresh or frozen chopped seafood.
Bar Gobies require an aquarium of 30 gallons or larger with plenty of live rock for hiding and a deep sand bed. They are known to jump and will leap out of tanks without a lid. They are peaceful fish and should not be kept with aggressive fish.
They are reef safe and will not bother corals, fish, but will eat tiny invertebrates.
