Dracula Goby (Stonogobiops dracula) Care
The Dracula Goby, Stonogobiops dracula, is also known as the Dracula Shrimp Goby. These fish come from the Western Indian Ocean. They have a yellow face and a white body with slanted brown-black bands bisected by thinner orange-red lines.
These gobies are carnivores and require a diet rich in meaty foods, such as mysis and brine shrimp and other types of fresh or frozen chopped seafood.
Dracula Gobies require an aquarium of 10 gallons or larger with plenty of live rock for hiding and a deep sand bed. They are known to jump and will leap out of tanks without a lid. They are peaceful fish and should not be kept with aggressive fish.
They are reef safe and will not bother corals, fish, but will eat tiny invertebrates.
