Platinum Picasso Clownfish (Amphiprion percula) Care
The Platinum Picasso Clownfish is a variant of the Amphiprion percula. The body is a bright orange and the three white body stripes, especially the middle stripe, are exaggerated and have various odd shapes. Fish classified as “Platinum” are hand-selected and graded for their unique markings and coloring. The These fish are captive-bred and are very hardy in aquariums.
Clownfish are omnivores and require a diet rich in both meaty and plant foods, such as mysis and brine shrimp, marine algae, and flake food. They love their food and may be aggressive when it comes to sharing with other tankmates.
The Platinum Picasso Clownfish can grow to be about 3″ and can be housed in aquariums as small as 30 gallons. These clownfish are hardy and vary from peaceful to semi-aggressive depending on the fish and the tank environment.
These fish are reef safe and will not bother coral or invertebrates.
