Pink Skunk Clownfish (Amphiprion perideraion) Care
The Pink Skunk Clownfish, Amphiprion perideraion, is also known as the Pink Anemonefish and Pink Skunk Anemonefish. These fish come from the West Pacific and Eastern Indian Ocean. These beautiful fish have a pink/peach colored body with a single white stripe behind the head and another running along the back.
Clownfish are omnivores and require a diet rich in both meaty and plant foods, such as mysis and brine shrimp, marine algae, and flake food. They love their food and may be aggressive when it comes to sharing with other tankmates.
The Pink Skunk Clownfish can grow to be about 4″ and can be housed in aquariums as small as 30 gallons. These clownfish are a little harder to care for and are semi-aggressive.
These fish are reef safe and will not bother coral or invertebrates.
