Coral Beauty (Centropyge bispinosa) Care
The Coral Beauty Angelfish, Centropyge bispinosa, is also known as the Dusky Angelfish and Two Spined Angelfish. They are found in the Indo-Pacific region. The Coral Beauty is notable for its gorgeous colors and the fact that it is very easy to care for. The face and body of the Coral Beauty Angelfish are a gorgeous vibrant bluish-purple color, while the center is an alluring bright orange with stunning blue stripes. The Coral Beauty Angelfish is an absolutely stunning fish that would make an amazing addition to your aquarium with its alluring appearance.
The Coral Beauty Angel grow to lengths of 4 inches and do best in tanks that are at least 70 gallons or more and have plenty of live rock to graze on and hide in. Some great hiding places can include live rock which you can purchase from our Aquarium Supplies section! They are not ideal for reef aquariums, however, as they are known for nipping at sessile corals and invertebrates. Some great tank-mates for the Coral Beauty Angel are the Midas Blenny (Ecsenius midas), the Girdled Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus balteatus), and the Stocky Anthias (Pseudanthias hypselosoma).
