Micromussa lordhowensis – Red (Acanthastrea Lordhowensis) Care
The Micromussa lordhowensis, Acanthastrea Lordhowensis, was formerly known as the ‘Acan Lord’. These coral can and will change color based upon the lights they are kept under. Micromussa lordhowensis corals are highly desirable stony corals that boast many different vibrant color combinations and patterns. They’re easy to care for, but can be slightly aggressive because they send out sweeper tentacles at night looking for food, These tentacles can sting or damage other sensitive coral.
Require target feeding of zooplankton, small brine shrimp, krill or enriched high quality pellet food for coral. Be careful to not overfeed your coral. It is best to feed them in the evening hours.
